  • Emails to specific writers & editors
  • Followup phone calls
  • Listings on a dozen events websites

Deutschtown house tour & CDCP partner again for success

Tour/Fair posterFollowing a successful collaboration in 2007 on a combined House Tour and Design Fair, the Community Design Center and Deutschtown did it again on September 28, 2008. “Green Living” was the theme for this year. [press release PDF]

Randy volunteered on House Tour team, donating marketing services. (Much of the same team has now completed redesign of the Deutschtown website.)

Planners launch new promotion

Pashek planPashek Associates launched an education and soft marketing effort in western Pennsylvania to promote their three studios: Site Design & Development, Park & Recreation Planning & Design, and Community Planning.

Randy collaborated with B James Branding and Pashek staff to produce a series of strategic postcards for more than 3,000 prospects and customers. The targeted mail campaign featured success stories, awards and new certifications. view Sustainability postcad PDF

A classic, simple strategy to step up marketing

After completing a Marketing Snapshot in late 2007, associate Sheila Washington of Washington Consulting Group decided to step up marketing efforts for her highly respected Washington Consulting Group.

Randy and designer Cindy Cassell created a handy postcard targeted to clients and prospects—businesses and nonprofits—to keep her business at the top of their minds.

Anticipating the celebration of Pittsburgh’s 250th birthday during 2008, this project for Priory Fine Pastries featured one of the City’s favorite sons.

It tells the story of teenage Irish immigrant David Clark launching the Clark Candy Company in the 1880s on the site of their store and is based on several historic documents. [PDF of the story]
